1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the REZZ Logistics website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Service Description
REZZ Logistics provides international freight forwarding, vehicle shipping, and machinery sourcing and shipping services. Our services include:
- Vehicle shipping via RoRo, container, and road transport
- Machinery sourcing and shipping
- Buy and ship services from AutoTrader and other sources
- Export documentation and customs clearance
- Marine transit insurance
- Delivery coordination to final destination
3. Booking and Confirmation
Quote Validity
All quotes provided by REZZ Logistics are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are subject to confirmation of cargo details and may be revised if specifications change.
Booking Confirmation
A shipment is not confirmed until:
- You accept our written quote
- We send you a booking confirmation with all terms
- Payment terms are agreed in writing
4. Pricing and Payment
Pricing
All prices quoted are firm quotes that include:
- Collection from pickup location
- Export documentation
- Shipping via agreed method
- Destination customs clearance
- Marine transit insurance
- Delivery to final address
Payment Terms
Payment is due as follows:
- 50% deposit upon booking confirmation
- 50% balance due before cargo is collected
- For shipments under £2,000, payment in full is due before collection
We accept bank transfer, credit card, and other agreed payment methods. Payment must be made in GBP or in USD at the current exchange rate.
Currency and Taxes
All prices are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated. VAT is not included in quotes unless explicitly stated. The customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes at the destination country.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Before Collection
If you cancel your shipment before cargo is collected:
- Cancellations up to 48 hours before scheduled collection: 80% refund of deposit
- Cancellations within 48 hours of collection: 50% refund of deposit
- Administrative fees of £100 minimum apply to all cancellations
Cancellation After Collection
Cancellations after cargo has been collected or has begun transit are subject to the following:
- Full payment is non-refundable
- We will attempt to redirect cargo at customer's expense
- Redirection may not always be possible
- Additional charges for storage and handling apply
6. Liability and Insurance
Insurance
All shipments include comprehensive marine transit insurance covering:
- Loss or damage during transit
- Loss or damage during loading/unloading
- Theft and pilferage
- Weather-related damage
Insurance does not cover:
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown (unless caused by external damage)
- Wear and tear
- Rust or corrosion (unless caused by carrier negligence)
- Damage from inadequate packaging by shipper
Liability Limits
REZZ Logistics' liability for loss or damage is limited to:
- 100% of the cargo value as declared in the shipping contract (maximum £50,000)
- The cost of the shipping service if cargo is not delivered
REZZ Logistics is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of business or profit
- Delays in delivery beyond our control
- Damage caused by acts of God or force majeure
- Damage caused by incorrect cargo information provided by the shipper
7. Customer Responsibilities
As the customer, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate cargo information (description, weight, dimensions, value)
- Ensuring cargo is legal in the destination country
- Obtaining export/import licenses if required
- Proper packaging and preparation of cargo
- Declaring full value of cargo for insurance purposes
- Ensuring cargo is in good condition at time of collection
- Being available for collection at the agreed time
8. Prohibited Items
REZZ Logistics cannot ship:
- Weapons, explosives, or ammunition
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Hazardous materials (without proper documentation and permits)
- Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
- Items violating import laws of destination country
- Perishable items without proper refrigeration
If prohibited items are discovered, the shipment will be seized and may be reported to authorities.
9. Delivery and Transit Times
Transit times provided are estimates based on normal conditions and are not guaranteed. Actual transit times may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Port congestion
- Customs delays
- Carrier scheduling
- Unforeseen circumstances
REZZ Logistics is not liable for delays in delivery. The customer is responsible for taking delivery at the destination within a reasonable time.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or the services provided shall be resolved as follows:
- First, through good faith negotiation between the parties
- If unresolved, through mediation
- If still unresolved, through binding arbitration under English law
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the English courts.
11. General Conditions
Force Majeure
REZZ Logistics is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including war, terrorism, natural disasters, pandemic, or government actions.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
