What is DENATRAN registration?
DENATRAN is Brazil's National Department of Transit. All imported vehicles must be registered with DENATRAN before legal operation. We handle all registration paperwork and coordination.
How much ICMS tax will I pay?
ICMS varies by destination state, typically 12-18% of vehicle value. São Paulo state is 12%, Rio de Janeiro 15%. We provide estimates based on your destination state and vehicle value.
Will my RHD vehicle be difficult to resell in Brazil?
RHD vehicles are non-standard in Brazil (which drives on the right). However, some buyers appreciate RHD for the uniqueness. Resale value may be slightly lower than LHD equivalents, but there's still a market.
How long does the whole process take?
